...has
read all the books, watched all the movies, loves all the songs, and has
had dreams,
daydreams and fantasies about vampires since she was able to understand
what they were.
She always wondered why they couldn't be real, until she saw him. All
the signs were there...for the most part. Pretty much. Well, she was
sure of it after the months she spent stalking him in secret until she
got her wish: A "blind" date with him. His name was
Aaron. He was a
vampire.
The date did not go as planned. Turns out the life of a vampire wasn't
what she read, watched and listened to. Aaron made sure she understood
that, tearing apart her conceptions and stereotypes. He even told her of
the violent, grotesque process of being turned.
It didn't matter. Belle had to have it. She had to be that. And so she
was thanks to Aaron, and Aaron was right: Vampirism is nothing like
advertised, and Belle finds herself stumbling through life as a new
vampire in a new reality.
The adventures
of her new way of life have been interesting so far, to say the least:
-She's somewhat reconciled with her best friend, Kristy, after they
realized they had no one to rely on but each other.
-She hasn't run into vampire hunter Simon Polidori for quite a while
which is good: He promised he would kill her next time he saw her.
-Oh, and it turns out Belle's a (previously) living descendant of The
First Vampire to ever exist: The Dracula. The Lord of Darkness HERself.
(Yeah, Drac's a lady. We couldn't believe it either.)
-As a "Daughter of Dracula", Belle's vampiric powers came into being far
faster than any conventional vampire.
Strength, speed, telepathic abilities and more, even her fangs came in
faster. (Vampires take a decade for fangs to come in. Belle's came
within months, popping out at the exact time that her "Mother", The
Dracula, rose from her 100-year slumber.)
There is no telling how being a descendant of The Dracula may further
effect her. But she sure is happy about the prospect of it!
