...not much is known about Jacqueline Mays other than the
legendary kill she that put her on the map for The Hunting Party.
After acting as though she was in the thrall of legendary vampire
Michael St. John, a vampire who was right below The Azimuth in terms of
clout and power among all vampires, she was able to successfully shrug
off his powerful charms and kill him, saving the lives of a series of
vampire hunters he had held captive as well as the hunter who almost
died in a frontal assault on St. Cloud: Kelvin the Lionhearted.
However, there is some dispute as to the voracity of the claims in Ms.
Mays report. Mostly because she's talking a bunch of crap.
Jacqueline Mays is known very well throughout The Hunting Party and even
non-union vampire hunters as the world-infamous "Jaq the Tripper".
She wasn't pretending to be in love with Michael St. John, she was
completely owned by his Glammer. When Kelvin the Lionhearted had finally
tracked him and went on the attack, she chased after Kelvin and shoved
him into a dumpster to prevent him from killing her 'love'. She took the
stake of another vampire hunter St. John had killed himself and was on
her way to handing it to him when she tripped over something, hit her
head while falling back, and rebounded forward completely
unconscious...staking him through the heart while St. John was in shock
at the utter lack of coordination she had just displayed.
She has ever since crowed about her defeat of Michael St. Cloud, and was
riding a wave of momentum with The Front Office that got her to Elite
status quickly until Kelvin the Lionhearted, whom everyone had assumed
was simply jealous of Jaq's success in the face of his failure, came
with over 14 witnesses and video evidence from a cell phone proving that
she got it from sheer luck and tripping over her own shoelaces.
She quickly recieved a new nickname from this feat, and thus "Jaq the
Tripper" was born.
She has been recently assigned to be a secondary to Simon Polidori by no
less than The Litigator himself after he strangely promoted Simon out of
nowhere, citing 'exemplary execution of his duties'.
Jacqueline Mays doesn't know why she was put into the position of
secondary to Simon, and she doesn't care. She only sees a chance to
prove to no less than The Litigator himself that Jacqueline Mays is
every bit as awesome as she'll happily explain to you she is.
