Kelvin is an elite member of the vampire hunting organization
known as "The Hunting Party".
Elite Hunters are separted from the rest of the field agents by the
nature of their accomplishments and kills, and Kelvin has racked up some
big ones which include, but are not limited to:
-Victor
of the Glastonbury Vampire Cult Jamboree
(2001)
-Champion
of the Northern Iowa Vampire Excursion
(2003)
-Hero
of the Vicksburg VampVasion
(2003)
-Victor at the Poughkepsie Incident
(2005 & 2007)
-Hero
of the Devonshire Incident
(2004)
-Champion
at the West Kansas Vampire Assault
(2005)
Kelvin the Lionhearted comes from an ancestral line of THP members to
achieve Elite Hunter status. It was the family business, and he followed
suit getting his first kill at age 9 with a plywood sword he made in
order to play his favorite childhood game "Knights and Scoundrels", that
he had a nun bless. The nun did it because she thought it was a cute
little game.
He carries the family's ancestral blade, "Zwade van Dwaze Moed", which
at over 400 years of age, has amassed quite a bit of anti-vampire aura
to it, and has brought the end to hundreds of vampires in a flash of
light and steel.
Not one to pile up kills with stealth and sneakiness, Kelvin is known
for his rather loud way of jumping into battles, taking to using
techniques mastered by the original user of his sword, Ronald the
Glorious. Those techniques include boisterous yelling, obnoxious
yelling, and a side of manly yelling.
There have been rumors of a cold war of sorts between Kelvin the
Lionhearted and The Litigator of The Hunting Party, as Kelvin was one of
the few Hunters vocally against Alexander Jagdhund being named The
Litigator because of concerns Kelvin simply couldn't provide evidence
of.
Time will tell if this becomes an issue with his current assignment:
searching for the missing hunter Simon Polidori.
